WELCOME to the Nova Scotia Wildlife Carvers and Artists Association. The club was formed in 1989 and now has members throughout the Maritimes and Newfoundland. Our first competition was held in the fall of 1989, and since then, some of our carvers have advanced to world class artists, bringing home ribbons from the Ward (World) Competition in Ocean City, Maryland.

This Thurs (Oct 8th) is meeting night for NS Wildlife Carvers


  After the regular monthly meeting we will have the Annual General Meeting with election of executive officers for the new year.  We’re still looking for someone to offer to chair the Competition Committee and some committee members to help with the job.
Remember when doing your carvings this year, the theme carvings are  any loon (stylized, decorative, decoy, smoothie etc), Blue Shark, and Squirrel.
